PERP: CA4c Blog 1

1. The technical skill I'm working on is Transcribing in an Alternate Tuning. The song that I'm trying to apply this skill on is Felicity by SungHa Jung. 2. First I listen for the tuning as it is very certainly not in a standard guitar tuning. For this specific song, the first chord that he plays is very open so i get to hear most of the strings. i realised that the tuning is FACFCF. PERP: CA4a – BLOG 2  : Technical Skill : Tap Harmonics Dying Question : How do I attain consistency? Reflect : I had planned to practice every day however I did not keep to it. Got super lazy and also went overseas. Consistently being able to tap all the harmonics has been a difficulty for me since a i've started playing guitar but i think that its due to a lack of practice. Plan : I plan to try my best to practice till i can nail the sequence perfectly 5 times in a row before i put my guitar back down.

My Major Instrument is : Acoustic Guitar Technical Skill I want to improve on is : Tap Harmonics Technical Exercise I have selected is : Tapping Harmonics to a certain part of a song, making sure they all resonate well. Start slow and start building up bpm. start at one-third of the original speed and slowly increasing the speed by 20bpm till it goes back to the original bpm of the song. Reason : I have never actually perfected Tapping harmonics so I thought that this would be a good exercise and skill to perfect.
